More DNA updates
I clicked on my DNA ancestry matches over the weekend and found a new close one. My uncle! My dad's brother. Second best to having my dad's dna, I'd say.

Of course, it's hard to know what to make of all this. One of the more interesting things that first stood out to me are: 14% Iberian Peninsula. I only had 1%. This is the region that includes Spain and Portugal. My husband saw that and said that's where our dark coloring comes from. I think the Italy/Greece at 3% may go right along with that. The other interesting percentages to note are trace. Benin/Togo and Asia South. Benin and Togo are located near Nigeria. This is what I was looking for. My mulatto great-great grandmother passed some DNA down to my uncle (just not me). The Asia South includes India. Interesting.
