Poetry Album of Annemarie Gené, 1904-

I'll have to ask my mom how she ended up with her German grandmother's "Poetry Album."  Annemarie Martha Emma Gené was born on the 18th January 1897 in Mannheim, Germany.  Many entries in this autograph book indicate Stettin.  Stettin is where her mother died, her father was born, and siblings were born. Her parents were Anna Wilhelmine Friederike Crüger (1858-1934) and Arnold Gené (1856-1908).  I believe I met her when I was a baby in Germany in the 1970s.  Not sure when she died.

The handwriting is difficult.  Many of the signers had fairly neat handwriting, but old German handwriting is like deciphering code.  Here is a link that I found helpful: http://www.kindredroots.com/What/germanletters/germanletters.htm.  I printed the sheets and took each word, letter by letter.  There are nearly 50 pages, with many signed by family.  There are names that are clearly family (her Aunt Eva Gené, for instance and some von Wolfradt cousins), but I am unsure of how they fit in the family tree.
